Bergen Airport Flesland (BGO) operates from a single modern passenger terminal that combines domestic and international operations under one roof. Opened in its expanded modern form in 2017, the terminal offers efficient passenger flow, Scandinavian architecture, bright interiors, and very short walking distances.
Despite serving millions of passengers every year, Bergen Airport remains compact, easy to navigate, and considerably less stressful than many larger European airports.
Bergen Airport is Norway’s second busiest airport and one of the main gateways to the fjords of western Norway. Located approximately 18 km south of Bergen city centre, the airport serves domestic destinations across Norway together with international routes throughout Europe.

The airport expanded significantly with the opening of the new terminal extension in 2017, which modernised airport infrastructure and doubled passenger capacity.
